Welcome to the home of great tasting alternatives, dairy-free recipes, advice and information

About Me

I’m a 23-year-old writer from Birmingham, but I moved to London at the end of 2010 to pursue my writing career. I have been dairy-free since autumn 2009 when I was diagnosed with Candida Albicans. The yeast overgrowth causes an array of pretty unpleasant symptoms including digestive problems and food intolerances. I was lactose intolerant and broke out in hives when I had any dairy, so my beloved cheese had to go. Over two years later, I feel healthier than ever and enjoy living a dairy-free lifestyle. I’ve been experimenting with various dairy alternatives but have become a big fan of the Rice Dream range recently.

In my free time I love spending time with my friends and family, shopping, going out and exploring London! I also write my own health blog http://munchforhealth.com.
